Tell us in 25 words or less “Why a cruise and rail holiday is the best way to see Australia and beyond” courtesy of Holidays of Australia. This includes a 12-night Ghan & Dawn Princess ‘Top End Wonders’ holiday, departing Adelaide on Sunday 29 March 2015, for two people. Prize value: $9,518

* Entry is free and open to Australian Citizens aged 18 years and over. Employees of Holidays of Australia, Cruise Passenger and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Entries must be submitted via the online entry form provided by Cruise Passenger. This promotion is being conducted by Holidays of Australia ABN 44 148 001 969 (“the Promoter”) of 18-20 Grenfell Street, Adelaide, SA, 5000 and runs from 8th September 2014 to 10th December, 2014. There is one prize, which will be awarded to the most creative entry. The Promoter will appoint a panel of judges to evaluate Eligible Entrants’ entries. Entries will be judged on the creativity of answers given. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into. This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner. Prize consists of a 12-night holiday for two people, including a 9-night cruise in a gold service balcony cabin aboard the Dawn Princess, which includes most meals, entertainment, port taxes and charges and pre-paid gratuities. The 9-night cruise visits the Kimberley Coast, Broome, Lombok (Indonesia) and a valid passport with 12 months validity past your return date to Australia is required and disembarking in Fremantle. Two nights aboard The Ghan in Gold Service, including all meals, drinks and off train excursions, with stops in Marla, Alice Springs, Katherine and Nitmiluk National Park and one night accommodation at the Doubletree by Hilton Esplanade Darwin, with breakfast included. Holidays of Australia will not be responsible for any additional or incurred costs while winner is travelling. Shore excursions (other than included on The Ghan) or other onboard ship activities, spending money, additional meals, taxes, travel insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room/ cabin charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Winner is responsible for any associated costs in getting to and from the departure port. Entries close at 5pm EDST 10th December 2014. One (1) entry will be selected at 5.00pm on 11th December 2014, from all entries. The prize is strictly NON-TRANSFERABLE & non-negotiable, & may not be replaced or refunded. Entrants can only enter the competition once. Prize-winner will be notified by Holidays of Australia by 5.00pm on 12th December, 2014. The winner will be contacted by either mail, email or phone. They will be notified by mail and/or email no later than one week following the prize draw. Results will be published on cruisepassenger.com.au/category/competition. This promotion does not involve a round in which players are eliminated. Prize letter/ prize will be delivered/ sent to prize-winner within one month of the winner being decided.

To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not responsible or liable for:

(i) inaccurate / incorrect transcription of entry information;
(ii) purported entries that are not received for any reason, including because they are lost, misdirected or stolen, or that are received, but are late, illegible, incomplete, or sent other than as directed in the entry instructions;
(iii) any problems or technical failures of any kind, including malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems or network, servers or providers, computer equipment, or software;
(iv) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any service whether or not caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or at any Website;
(v) unauthorised human intervention in any part of the competition;

(ii) (vi) electronic or human error which may occur in the administration of the competition;
(vii) any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property and including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent, by the Promoter, or its servants or agents, in connection with the arrangement for supply, or the supply, of any goods or services by any person to a prize winner and, where applicable, to any family/persons accompanying a winner; or
(viii) any injury or damage to persons or property, including to the participant’s or any other person’s computer related to, or resulting from, participation or downloading any materials in this competition;
(ix) In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
