“Home and Away – Win A Trip To London” Competition
Terms and Conditions
By entering the “Home and Away – Win A Trip To London” Competition (“the Competition”), you are agreeing to the
following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia, except for residents of Western Australia, 18
years of age or older where the Channel Seven signal and its affiliated networks (“Affiliates”) signals are
received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of the Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd and
their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences on Monday 31 March 2014 at 19:00 (AEDT) and concludes on Friday 4 April
2014 at 19:00 (AEDT) (“the Competition Period”). The eligible entry period for each prize draw will
commence and conclude on the following dates and times:

3.2 For entry details, viewers must watch the Seven Network (“the Network”) and affiliates during the
Competition Period. There will be a competition segment aired from time to time, which will display
information on how to enter.
3.3 In order to enter the draw, viewers must either:
a) Send a text message/SMS to 1977 1717 and register the daily code word, their full name, suburb and
state;
b) Telephone 1902 55 77 01, and register the daily code word, their full name, address (including
postcode) and contact daytime telephone number (including STD area code).
3.4 All entrants in the Competition may enter as many times as they like.
3.5 Each SMS entry must be charged to a mobile account and SMS entries via the internet, computer generation
or “scripting” are invalid and will not be accepted. The time of entry for SMS entrants will be the time the
entry is received by Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd’s SMS entry database.
3.6 Each SMS entry will be charged at premium rate, namely $0.55 (including GST), which covers the entry and
the reply message. SMS entrants will receive a reply message to their entry.
3.7 The maximum 1902 call cost is $0.55 (including GST). 1902 call costs will be higher from mobile phones.
3.8 Entries remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. Entrants agree to grant
the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use their entries in all media worldwide and
acknowledge that they will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be one (1) prize winner who will receive the prize package as detailed in clause 4.2.

Total maximum prize pool value for the prize package is $10,900 AUD. Prize value is in Australian dollars and
correct as at the date of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between
now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
4.3 It is a condition that the winner agree to the following conditions in accepting the prize package detailed in
clause 4.2:
a) Prize must be booked by 1 September 2014 and travel must be taken within 12 months from the
date the winner is announced and is subject to booking and flight availability.
b) The prize winner and their travel companions must commence and complete their travel between
the following dates; 1 September 2014 until 1 April 2015 (inclusive). There can be no changes made
to travel arrangements once itineraries or tickets are issued, including name changes. The Promoter
will inform the prize winner of their flight times and dates no later than 5 weeks before scheduled
departure.
c) Blackout periods apply. Prize cannot be taken during Australian school holidays or public holidays, or
other Australian or United Kingdom peak periods. Total travel itinerary (detailed in clause 4.2) is
limited to availability on set departures.
d) Unless explicitly approved by the Promoter, the travelling companion must be minimum aged 13
years of age and must also travel with a legal guardian.
e) Prize winners and nominated travel companions must provide valid identification to the Promoter.
f) Any changes made to the booking by the prize winner or their travel companion, including extending
the trip, are at the winner’s expense and must be arranged by the winner.
g) The winner and their travelling companion must travel on the same flight, at the same time, must
depart from the same Australian capital city and are responsible for transport from their residence
to their nearest capital city Airport (Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Darwin, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth,
Sydney) for flight departure to London Heathrow Airport, United Kingdom.
h) The Promoter will not be liable for any cost arising from or otherwise related to delays or
cancellations to the connecting flight(s) booked by the winner, either to or from the nominated
capital city and their residence.

i) All booking and costs related to obtaining, amending or otherwise concerning any connecting
flight(s) to/from their residence and the nominated capital city are the responsibility of the winner.
j) Unless expressly stated in these terms and conditions all other expenses related to the prize become
the responsibility of the prize winners and their nominated travel companions. Subject to the prize
stipulated in clause 4.2, the prize winners and their travel companions are responsible for all
expenses including but not limited to spending money, transfers, meals, room amenity charges,
drinks, incidentals, mini-bar, in-room video, laundry, room service, telephone calls, activities,
insurance, energy surcharges, gratuities, services charges, passports and all other ancillary costs. A
credit card imprint or cash deposit may be required from the prize winner at check-in to the hotel,
for all incidental charges.
k) The prize winner is responsible for ensuring that all those travelling have valid passports and
applicable visas. The Promoter will not be held responsible for any loss or delay that may occur as a
result of any passport or visa not being produced in time for travel. The Promoter does not accept
any responsibility if the prize winner’s nominated travel companions cannot travel because of noncompliance
with any passport, visa or immigration requirements.
l) Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of the prize
winner and their nominated travel companions.
m) Travel insurance is not included in the cost of the prize package and is highly recommended to
protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
4.4 In accepting the prize the winner and their nominated travel companions agree to participate in and cooperate
with all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed and
photographed, and the winners grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage
and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.5 All prize winners and their nominated travel companion (where applicable) agree they will not sell or
otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.6 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the prize winner and their nominated travel companion must
comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and the Promoter’s requirements.
4.7 Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash and are not transferable or exchangeable.
4.8 The Promoter may require the prize winners and their nominated travel companions to sign a waiver of
liability and indemnity in the form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
4.9 Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.
4.10 The promoter may vary these terms and conditions at its discretion.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 There will be one (1) prize winner drawn as per clause 4.2 from the national pool of 1902 and SMS entrants.
Each entrant who has entered the Competition in accordance with clause 3.2 during the Competition Period
using a mobile phone with a reply path and whose SMS message has passed through the Telco carriers
network to Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd’s database or phoned the 1902 number registered all details required within
the Competition dates and times as stated in clause 3.1 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the draw.
Entries that do not comply with these terms and conditions, may be deemed invalid and a further draw will
be conducted in its place. The winner draw will take place at Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street,
Adelaide, South Australia 5000 on Monday 7 April 2014 at 09:15 AEST. The prize winner will be drawn from
the total pool of SMS and 1902 entrants received during the “Competition Period”.
5.2 The Seven Network Marketing department will notify the prize winner by a phone call within two days of the
draw and a letter advising the winner of their prize will also be express posted. The winner’s entry details will
be published in the Public Notes section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 14 April 2014.
5.3 The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.4 The Promoter may in its absolute discretion deem entries invalid subsequently to a winner being notified or a
winner’s name being announced if it is discovered that the winner did not enter the Competition in
accordance with these terms and conditions. In these circumstances, an additional draw will be conducted.
5.5 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner (and any companions) may be required to sign a legal
release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
5.6 Subject to state government legislation the winner must accept their prize by Tuesday 8 July 2014 at 09:30
(AEST). In the event of an unclaimed prize, an unclaimed prize draw will take place at Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd,
Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide, South Australia 5000 on Tuesday 8 July 2014 10:30 (AEST) and the winner
will be notified by mail and their details published in the Public Notes section of The Australian newspaper on
Monday 14 July 2014 if required.

6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the
Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms
and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of
God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the
Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to state government
legislation.
6.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will
take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies will
not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or
claim that may occur:
a) whilst undertaking any travel won on or connected with their entry into the Competition; or
b) in the acceptance or participation in any prize;
c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material,
including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any
other person.
e) in relation to failure of an SMS entry message to be received by the Promoter on account of
technical problems or traffic congestion; or
f) in relation to any damage or loss to Entrant’s or any other person’s computer software, computer
equipment or internet connection resulting from or related to participation in this Promotion;
g) any variation in Prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions;
h) any technical difficulties, technical error or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the
Promoter’s control); or any error, omission, interruption, deletion, delay, defect, theft,
unauthorised access or third party interference.
6.4 Seven Network (Operations) Limited assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion,
defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized
access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to
state government legislation.
6.5 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not
limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the
control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper
conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual
who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify
or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
7. PROMOTER’S DETAILS
7.1 The Promoter is Seven Network (Operations) Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) of Level 2, 38-42 Pirrama Road,
Pyrmont, NSW 2009.
7.2 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter. Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, on behalf of Seven Network Limited
(ABN 65 052 845 262) and its related entities (“Seven”), is collecting the entrant’s personal information for
the purpose of conducting and promoting this Competition (including but not limited to determining and
notifying winners), and, if you consent, for the purpose of Seven sending you promotional and direct
marketing material in relation to Seven’s programs and products and services available through Seven and its
business partners. The entrant may request access to his or her personal information by writing to Privacy
