Terms & Conditions
1. The Promoter:

2. Entry Restrictions:
The Tyrepower Scratch & Win competition is open only to Australian residents aged 18 or over except directors, officers, management and employees (and the immediate families of directors, officers, management and employees) of the Promoter, or of the agencies or companies or Stores associated with this competition. Entry is only available to the registered owner of the vehicle and does not include fleet companies, government agencies or leasing agencies.
3. Competition Period:
The competition commences on 1st September 2014 and closes on 14th November 2014.
4. Entry Method:
There are two elements to this competition:
A Scratch & Win element; and
A Major Prize Draw element
4a: Scratch & Win Entry Method:
During the Competition Period, entrants must purchase a minimum of 2 new tyres and a wheel alignment from any participating Tyrepower outlet in Queensland and Northern NSW.
Each purchase entitles the entrant to one scratch & win card. Purchase 4 tyres & a wheel alignment and receive 2 x scratch & win cards.
Match 3 icons on the scratch & win card to win that prize. For example, scratch 3 matching $50 fuel card icons and win a $50 fuel card. Each winning card has a unique code.
To collect the prize, go to www.getthepower.com.au and enter your details, your Tyrepower receipt number and the unique code. Your prize will be posted to you.
4b: Major Prize Draw Entry Method:
Even if you’re not an instant winner, and you have purchased a minimum of 2 tyres and a wheel alignment, you can still enter to win the Major Prize of a $5,000 Flight Centre Travel Voucher.
Enter your personal details and Tyrepower receipt number at www.getthepower.com.au to be in the draw. Entrants who have completed the online entry form for an instant prize will be automatically entered into the Major Prize Draw.
5. Major Prize Draw Details:
The prize draw will take place at Tyrepower Marketing (QLD) Limited Head Office – Unit 2, 35 Paringa Road, Murarrie QLD 4172 on Monday 17th November 2014.
The draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
Entries are electronically collated in a database across the entire promotional period. The winning entry will be selected from that database using a random entry picker program.
6. Prize Details:
Instant Win Prizes
Instant Prizes to be won include:
5 X $2,000 Coles/Myer shopping vouchers valued at $10,000.
10 x Win Your Purchase Back to the value of $500 each. Total value: $5,000
25 x $100 Fuel cards valued at $2,500.
50 x $50 Fuel cards valued at $2,500.
Tyrepower merchandise (caps, key rings) valued at $5,000
Major Prize
The Major Prize is a $5,000 Flight Centre voucher.
The Flight Centre voucher is redeemable for any holiday.
Once the Major Prize winner has been verified by the Promoter, the winner will receive the Major Prize via registered post to their address as stated in the entry.
7. Prize Pool
The overall total prize pool is valued at $30,000 (incl gst).
8. Code Requirements:
Entrants must retain their original itemised receipt/s and Unique Code/s to verify each entry. The promoter will verify the validity of entry and reserves the right to disqualify any entrant for tampering with the entry process or submitting an entry, which is not in accordance with these conditions of entry.
9. Winner/s Notification & Publication:
The Instant Prize winners will be notified instantly via an on screen message and also by email.
The Major Prize winner will be notified by phone and in writing within two days of the Major Prize Draw and will have their name and state/territory of residence published on the Website on 18/11/14 for a period of 28 days.
10. Entry Conditions:
All entries will become the property of the promoter. The promoter is not liable for any loss or damage, which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any of the prizes offered or as a result of accepting the prizes, except for any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Entrants will have deemed to accept all terms & conditions of entry. Personal information of customers may be used for the purposes of promoting and marketing products and service at a later date.
11. Unclaimed/Unwon Prize Draw Details:
A second prize draw will be held for any Unclaimed/Unwon Prizes. This will be held at the same time as the major prize draw – on Monday 17th November 2014.
The second prize draw will be conducted using a random entry picker program that interrogates the database of entrants.
12. Unclaimed/Unwon Prize Draw Winners Notification & Publication:
Any winners in the Unclaimed/Unwon Prize draw will receive their prize within seven days of the Unclaimed/Unwon Prize draw and their name and state/territory of residence will be published on the Website on 1/12/14 for a period of 28 days.
