Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this competition is deemed acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
Entry is open to residents of Australia 18 years and over who can travel between 9th June 2014 and 28th June 2014. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this Competition are not eligible to enter. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.

The competition commences on 20th January 2014 at 11:59am (AEDST) and closes at 12:01pm (AEDST) on 8th April 2014 (“Competition Period”).
This is a game of skill and chance plays no part in the determination of the winner.

How to Enter
To be eligible to enter, individuals must purchase any full size Veet product from any participating retailer nationally during the Competition Period.
To enter, individuals must then visit www.veetsummer.com.au, follow the prompts to the Competition page and input the requested details including their full name, full street address, daytime telephone number.
Eligible Entrants must then submit a twenty-five (25) word or less answer to the following question:

“How do you get your legs Summer ready?” (Question)
Eligible Entrants must then submit the fully completed entry form during the Competition Period.
Only one entry per person will be permitted.
It is a condition of entry that Eligible Entrants retain a photocopy of their purchase receipt(s) for all entries as proof of purchase. Failure to produce the proof of purchase for all entries when requested may, in the absolute discretion of the Promoter, result in invalidation of ALL of an entrant’s entries and forfeiture of any right to a prize.

Prizes
The best valid entry, as determined by the judges, will be deemed the Major Prize winner and will win an eighteen (18) day European Freestyle Busabout tour for two (2) adults between 9th June 2014 and 28th June 2014, valued at up to $9,997 AUD depending on point of departure. The Major Prize includes:

• Two (2) x economy airfares from the Major Prize winner’s nearest Australian capital city to Rome, Italy, Barcelona, Spain, Ibiza, Spain and return to Australia;
• Fifteen (15) to sixteen (16) nights multi-share/twin-share hotel or hostel accommodation in total to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. Seven of those nights are included as part of the Ibiza Island Hoper Adventure referred to below;
• Two (2) x Busabout three (3) stop Hop On Hop Off passes;
• ‘Romeing Tours’ by night walking tour for two (2) adults;
• ‘Romeing Tour’ Vatican tour for two (2) adults;
• Welcome to Florence walking tour and dinner for two (2) adults;
• Florence Grape Escape Winery Tour for two (2) adults;
• Nice Riviera Highlights Sailing Day for two (2) adults;
• Ibiza Island Hopper Adventure for two (2) adults which includes:
– A Busabout Guide;
– All ferry tickets and transfers for two (2) adults;
– Seven (7) nights multi-share hotel or hostel accommodation;
– Seven (7) daily breakfasts for two (2) adults;
– Orientations walks on each Island for two (2) adults; and
– Organised nights out on each Island for two (2) adults.

(Major Prize)
Spending money, additional meals, taxes (excluding airline and airport taxes), insurance, passports, visas, vaccinations, transport to and from departure point, additional transfers, items of a personal nature, in-room charges and all other ancillary costs are not included. Major Prize must be taken to coincide with the European Freestyle Busabout tour with flights departing on 9th June 2014.
The Major Prize winner and their companion are responsible for ensuring that they have valid passports, and any requisite visas, vaccinations and travel documentation. The Major Prize winner (and their companion) must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel together. Itinerary to be determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion. The Major Prize is subject to the standard terms and conditions of individual prize and service providers. The major prize is subject to normal booking terms and conditions, please see Busabout, HAGGiS & Shamrocker 2014 Brochure or refer to www.busabout.com for full booking terms & conditions. Cancellation and change fees may apply once the Major Prize has been booked. The major prize winner may be required to present their credit card at time of accommodation check in.
Any variations to travel, dates, stopovers could be an additional cost and should be requested at time of booking/requesting travel to avoid any additional fees. Once flights are booked & tickets are issued any date changes, stop over or re-routing changes will incur reissue fees, and the minimum reissue fee cost is $250 per person (but may be more expensive based on seating availability on flights).
Any special requests such as special meals should be requested at time of booking. Frequent Flyer details can be added at time of booking. At least one mobile phone contact number should also be provided in case of any flight delays or cancellation.
Changes to flight schedules may require additional overnight accommodation at either commencement, during the itinerary, or on completion of the trip which is at the Major Prize winner’s expense.
Travel restrictions may apply.
The Major Prize does not include travel insurance. Travel insurance is highly recommended to protect against the additional costs incurred in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
The next best two-hundred (200) valid entries, as determined by the judges, will be deemed the runner up prize winners and will each win a full size Veet EasyWax Electrinical Roll-On Kit valued at $39.99 AUD each.
The next best two-hundred (200) valid entries, as determined by the judges, will be deemed the runner up prize winners and will each win a full size EasyGrip Ready-To-Use Wax Strips valued at $10.99 AUD each.
Prizes cannot be sold, scalped, auctioned, raffled, pledged, or promoted as an incentive or reward by any third party as an inducement for any person or other entity to enter into any commercial or other arrangements with that third party. If a prize is obtained through any of these methods, it will not be honoured.
The total prize pool value is up to $20,193. Prizes, or any unused portion of a prize, are not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash, unless otherwise specified. The prizes are valued in Australian dollars. In the event that a portion of the prize is awarded to a winner in the form of a voucher / ticket / pass, redemption of that portion of the prize will be subject to the terms and conditions stipulated on the voucher / ticket / pass. The Promoter will not be liable for any voucher / ticket / pass that has been lost, stolen, forged, damaged or tampered with in any way.

Judging
The judging will be done by a panel of judges appointed by the Promoter. The judging will take place at the Promoter’s premises, 54 Park Street, Sydney, NSW 2000 from 11thApril 2014. Each winner will be notified in writing using the contact details given in their entry. The major prize winner will also be notified by telephone using the contact details given in their entry.
Each entry will be individually judged based:

a. the literary; and
b. creative

merit of the answer to the Question in the judges absolute discretion.
The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition will be final and binding on every person who enters. No correspondence will be entered into.

General Conditions
Prizes are not transferable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, lost or misdirected entries or other communications. Entries will be deemed void if illegitimate, forged, manipulated or tampered with in any way.
In the event that the a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter may substitute a prize or gift (as the case may be) of equal or greater value, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.
The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address of a winner and Gift recipient and any other information relevant to entry into or participation in this Competition. Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any individual who is involved in any way in interfering or tampering with the conduct of this Competition.
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify any statutory consumer guarantees or any implied condition or warranty the exclusion of which from these terms and conditions would contravene any statute or cause any part of these terms and conditions to be void (“Non-Excludable Guarantees”). Subject to the limitations in the preceding sentence, the Promoter excludes from these terms and conditions all conditions, warranties and terms implied by statute, general law or custom. Except for liability in relation to a Non Excludable Guarantee, the Promoter (including its officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability whether arising in tort (including without limitation negligence), contract or otherwise for any personal injury or any other loss or damage (including without limitation loss of opportunity or loss of profits) whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Competition, including, without limitation, the following: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry, Major prize or Gift claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in Major prize or Gift value to that stated in these terms and conditions; (e) any tax implications; and/or (f) the a Major prize or Gift or use of the Major prize or Gift.
The Promoter collects personal information from entries for the purpose of conducting this Competition (which may include disclosure to third parties, including, but not limited to, Major prize and Gift suppliers). Entry is conditional on providing this information. The Promoter may also use personal information for promotional purposes. By entering this entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or payment to the entrant, including sending the entrant electronic messages. Entrants may access, correct and/or update their personal information and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by visting www.bauer-media.com.au.
All entries become the property of the Promoter.
Should an entrant’s contact details change during the Competition Period, it is the entrant’s responsibility to notify the Promoter. A request to access or modify any information provided in an entry should be directed to Promoter.
The Promoter is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any web site, or any combination thereof, (including but not limited to) any injury or damage to participants or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this Competition.
Prize values are based upon the recommended retail prices at the time of printing (inclusive of GST). The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate redemption date.
It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner respectively must comply with all the conditions of use.
It is a condition of accepting a prize that the Winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.
Any cost associated with accessing the Competition Website is the entrant’s responsibility and is dependent on the Internet service provider used.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition. The Promoter’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
If for any reason whatsoever beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, this Competition is not capable of running as planned, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, unless to do so would be prohibited by law.
In participating in the Competition, entrants agree that in the event that they are the winner, they may be required to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition and the ambassador program on-going, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. Entrants consent to the Promoter using the entrant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice in the event they are a winner (incl. photograph, film and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period of time without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Competition (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Promoter. Winners grant the Promoters a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
Each work submitted as an entry or part of an entry (“Work”) becomes the property of the Promoter. Work(s) will not be returned to any entrant. As a condition of entry, each entrant irrevocably grants to the Promoter a sub-licensable, non-exclusive, perpetual worldwide licence to use and exploit all intellectual property rights (including without limitation, copyright) in and to the Work and consents to the Promoter or its agents doing (or omitting to do) any acts in respect of the Work which may otherwise constitute an infringement of the entrant’s moral rights. For the avoidance of doubt, the Promoter may use all or any part of an entrant’s Work(s) for any purposes at its discretion, including, without limitation, using the entrant’s Work(s) for promotional, marketing or publicity purposes, whether in respect of this Competition, the Promoter, or otherwise. Each entrant warrants to the Promoter that the Work submitted is an original work of the entrant which does not infringe any rights of any third party. A breach of the warranty set out in this condition will result in the entrant’s entry being invalid. In addition, each entrant indemnifies the Promoter against all loss, damages and costs incurred by the Promoter arising from that entrant’s breach of the warranty set out in this condition.
Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
The laws of New South Wales apply to this Competition to the exclusion of any other law. Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.
