Ballarat Golf Club Inc Trade Promotion Lottery to commence on 10th June 2014 Vic Permit No: 14/4094
Introduction
1. The following Terms and Conditions apply for the Ballarat Golf Club Inc Trade Promotion Lottery to commence on 10th June 2014. By participation in the Trade Promotion Lottery entrant’s warrant they have read, understood and agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions.
2. The Terms and Conditions can be downloaded from www.ballaratgolfclub.com.au
Eligibility and Entry to the Trade Promotion Lottery
3. Employees of the Ballarat Golf Club Inc and their immediate families are ineligible to enter the Lottery. Immediate family includes spouses, defacto spouses, parents, natural or adopted children or sibling.
4. The Trade Promotion Lottery will commence on 10th June 2014
5. Eligibility to enter the draw of the Trade Promotion Lottery closes on 12th August 2014.
6. To be initially eligible to enter the Trade Promotion Lottery an entrant must join or be a Member of the Ballarat Golf Club Inc.
7. All new members on joining the Ballarat Golf Club Inc will be given an entry ticket into the draw.
8. All members on visiting the Club (1800 Sturt Street Ballarat) and swiping their membership card at the Diamond Reward Kiosk will receive an entry ticket into the draw.
i.) Ballarat Golf Club Inc members will receive entry into draw with any purchase of $10 or more from the Ballarat Golf Club Inc.
Prize
9. Thirty draws will be conducted on each Tuesday being the 10th, 17th & 24thJune, 1st , 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th July, 5th & 12th August 2014 at 7.30pm for entry into the Minor Prize Draw which is to be conducted on Monday 25th August 2014 starting at 8.00pm for 10 Minor Car Service and Car Detail Vouchers from Ballarat Holden valued at $605ea. The Major Prize Draw will be conducted at 8.30pm on Monday 25th August 2014 for the Holden TM Barina CD 1.6L 4CYL Manual Sedan MY14, Summit White with Jet Black Trim with “Standard Plates” and 12 month Roadside Assist and on road costs valued up to RRP $18,680. The total prize value incl. GST of up to $24730.
Draw
10. The Minor & Major prize draw will take place at a special function on 25th August 2014 at the Ballarat Golf Club Inc.
11. Finalist will be sent an invitation in the mail for the Gala Draw night by 14/08/14 with RSVP to club by 22/8/13.
Method for the Trade Promotion Lottery Draw
12. Ballarat Golf Club Inc will have from the 10th of June 2014 a barrel at 1800 Sturt Street Ballarat (The Ballarat Golf Club Inc) for all entries to be placed.
13. Ballarat Golf Club Inc will draw 30 tickets from the ticket barrel on Tuesday the 10th, 17th, 24thJune, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th July, 5th & 12th August 2014 at 7.30pm. A total of 300 tickets will be drawn over the period and all people drawn from barrel will receive an invitation to the Special Function on Monday 25th August 2014. All 300 invites names will be placed into the barrel for the Minor Prize Draw on Monday 25th August 2014 at 8pm. Ballarat Golf Club Inc. will draw 10 tickets from the barrel with all individuals drawn each receiving the minor prize plus one of 10 possible keys that open the Major Prize. In the event that a winner cannot attend and name is drawn out of the barrel the Ballarat Golf Club will appoint a proxy on their behalf. At 8.30pm all 10 minor prize winners will be asked to try and the open door of Major Prize which only one key will open. The individual who’s key opens the door of the Major Prize will be the winner of the Major Prize.
Prize Claims
14. All drawn tickets will be notified in writing and major prize draw winner will be published in the Herald Sun on Tuesday 2nd of September 2014
Advertising
15. Where advertising for the Trade Promotion Lottery is conducted by audio or visual media:
a) a description of the prize will be included in the broadcast; and
b) the broadcast will direct entrants to where the Terms and Conditions of the lottery are to be found.
16. Where advertising for the Trade Promotion Lottery is conducted by electronic media (other than audio or visual) all advertising of the promotion shall provide a description of the prize and shall direct entrants to where the Terms and Conditions of entry are to be found.
17. Where advertising for the Trade Promotion Lottery is conducted in any other way all advertising of the Trade Promotion Lottery shall provide a description of the prize and shall direct entrants to where the Terms and Conditions are to be found.
Publicity
18. It is a condition of entry that Ballarat Golf Club Inc has the right to publicise names of any entrant to the Trade Promotion Lottery or matter incidental to the Trade Promotion Lottery.
19. it is a condition of entry that the winner of the Trade Promotion Lottery agrees to participate in promotional events, photo shoots and media releases etc for the Ballarat Golf Club Inc.
20. Ballarat Golf Club Inc will not enter into any correspondence with the entrants regarding the Trade Promotion Lottery.
Release and Indemnity
21. All entrants release from and indemnify Ballarat Golf Club Inc against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of the prize or participation in the Trade Promotion Lottery including (but not limited to) loss of income, personal injury and damage to property and whether direct of consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act of omission or otherwise.
22. Ballarat Golf Club Inc accepts no responsibility for any accident, loss, injury or damage to any individual or property arising out of or in conjunction with the competition either during or after the competition.
23. Ballarat Golf Club Inc takes no responsibility for the loss of the prize due to:
a) incorrect or imprecise contact details provided by an entrant; or
b) an entrant failing to inform Ballarat Golf Club Inc of a change of those contact details when they arise.
24. Ballarat Golf Club Inc takes no responsibility for the loss, theft or delayed receipt of any communication sent by post.
25. Ballarat Golf Club Inc reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual for;
a) tampering with the entry process that in any way affects the fairness of the promotion;
b) tampering with the operation of the competition or website; or
c) acting in violation of these Terms and Conditions.
Decisions Final
26. Decision of the Ballarat Golf Club Inc are final and cannot be contested and no correspondence or discussions will be entered into.

27. The Promoter is Ballarat Golf Club Inc A.B.N: 49 867 479 929 trading as Ballarat Golf Club Inc 1800 Sturt Street Ballarat.
Keeping Records
28. Records will be kept that provide the following;
• All entries placed in barrel will be kept for 3 years
• An accurate account for the distribution of prizes
• An accurate financial accounting of the lottery
