1. Definitions
For this Promotion, the following terms have the following meanings:
Term Meaning
AEDT/ AEST AEDT means Australian Eastern Daylight Time. AEST means
Australian Eastern Standard Time.
Immediate Family Any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or
step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent,
grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew,
brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or first cousin

2. Eligibility
Australian residents aged 18 years or over are eligible to enter this Promotion. Employees of
the Promoter (or any related entity of the Promoter) and their Immediate Families are not
eligible to enter this Promotion. Persons under the age of 18 may enter only with the
consent of their parent or legal guardian. If such consent is not given, the entry will be
deemed invalid and any prize forfeit for a redraw.
3. Entry
By entering this Promotion, the entrant accepts these terms and conditions. A person may
only enter this Promotion once and must enter this Promotion during the Promotion Period.
In order for the Promoter to notify the winners, the entrant must provide his or her full
name and e-mail address. The Promoter may deem an incomplete entry invalid. To enter,
entrants must complete the entry form available on Scoopon’s website
(www.scoopon.com.au) from 12pm AEDT 12th December 2017 until 11:59am AEDT 26th
December 2017, and provide their full name, postcode, email address. For an additional 25
bonus entries, entrants can share their unique URL link provided after submitting the entry
form and if an entrant’s friend enters using this link, those 25 bonus entries will be assigned
to the original entrant.
4. Prizes
There will be 1 prize (1 winner) for a holiday in Bora Bora. The prize will consist of:
Return international economy airfares from the winner’s capital city to Papeete, via
Auckland, for 2 people, inclusive of:
o 1 piece of checked luggage per person (maximum weight of 23 kilograms
per traveller);
o 1 piece of carryon luggage per person (maximum weight of 10 kilograms per
traveller); and
o 1 on-board meal per traveller. Depending on the flight schedule, breakfast,
lunch, dinner or a snack will be served.
Return economy flights airfares from Papeete, to Bora Bora;
Round trip boat transfers from Bora Bora to the hotel;
2 nights of accommodation in Papeete (night of arrival in Papeete and before
departure back to Auckland) at Pearl Beach Resort, Papeete;
5 nights of accommodation at the Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Beach Resort in an
Overwater Bungalow;
Daily breakfast for 2 at the Sofitel Bora Bora Marara Beach Resort; and City taxes.
The total prize pool will be valued at up to $9,710. Travel must be taken using the prize
between the 5th of January 2018 and the 31st of May 2018. Blackout periods apply from 24
December 2017 until 4 January 2018. Preferred travel dates are subject to availability.
Spending money, meals and any other inclusion not explicitly stated as an inclusion of the
prize are excluded. Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be substituted for
cash. If the prize is not redeemed during the validity period, the prize will be void. Travel
insurance is recommended. If a prize is unavailable, the Promoter may substitute that prize
with a prize that is equal in value or type, subject to any written directions from a regulatory
authority.
5. Draw
This is a game of chance. The winners of the prize will be drawn at random by barrel draw at
12pm AEDT on the 2nd of January 2018. The draw for the prize will take place at the
Promoter’s office in Mulgrave, Victoria.
6. Winners
The winners of the prize will be announced on the Promoter’s Website
(https://www.scoopon.com.au/competition-winners) and Scoopon Facebook social media
account (https://www.facebook.com/scoopon/) at 3pm AEDT 3rd January 2018. The winners
of the prize must sign any release form that may be required by the Promoter or supplier of
a prize. After announcement of the winner, the Promoter will notify the winner via email to
arrange delivery of the prize.
7. Unclaimed prizes
If a prize is unclaimed, the Promoter will draw a winner for the unclaimed prize 1 month
after the initial draw at 12pm AEDT on the 2nd of March 2018 by barrel draw in the
promoter’s office in Mulgrave, Victoria. The winner of the unclaimed prize will be
announced on the Promoter’s Website (https://www.scoopon.com.au/competition-winners)
and Scoopon Facebook social media account (https://www.facebook.com/scoopon/) at 3pm
AEDT on the 2nd of March 2018.
8. Forfeited prizes
The Promoter may forfeit a prize if a winner refuses to sign any release form specified in
section 6 or if a winner refuses to accept a prize.
9. Entrant’s personal information
By entering this Promotion, the entrant consents to:
a. the Promoter, or any of its affiliated entities, using the entrant’s details for future
marketing and promotional purposes, except if notified otherwise by the entrant;
b. if entrants are winners, the Promoter using their name, likeness, image and voice in any
media platform; and
c. disclosing the entrant’s personal information to third parties, including agents, contractors

10. Promoter’s rights
The Promoter may verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity,
age and place of residence). The Promoter may disqualify an entrant who submits an entry
that is not in accordance with these terms and conditions, who tampers with the entry
process or who uses automated entry software or other mechanical or electronic means
that allows a person to automatically enter repeatedly. The Promoter may either disqualify
an entrant or modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this Promotion if this Promotion is
interfered with or this Promotion is not capable of being conducted as reasonably expected
due to a reason beyond the control of the Promoter, including technical difficulties,
unauthorised intervention or fraud, subject to any written directions from a regulatory
authority.
11. Promoter’s liability
The Promoter is not liable for any loss, expense, damage or liability that may be suffered or
incurred by a person in entering this Promotion or accepting and using the prizes. If the
Promoter is liable, the Promoter’s liability is limited to either resupply of the goods or
services. This section 11 does not alter a person’s rights under the Australian Consumer
Law.
