General
These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to the “KLM Dream Trip campaign”, (the “Campaign”) which is organised by Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij N.V., Amsterdamseweg 55, 1182 GP Amstelveen, the Netherlands (“KLM”).

The Campaign shall commence on 21 November 2017, 09:00 AM (UTC+1) and will run until 28 November 2017 (23:59+1) (the “Campaign Period”).

The Campaign is accessible via the website with the domain dreamtrip.klm.com (the “Website”) and is open to residents of Australia.

You can visit the Website via Facebook, via e-mail addressed to you by KLM or directly after hearing about the Campaign through others.

Participation to the Campaign
A “Participant” is defined as follows: any legal person who must be 18 years or older at the time of participation in the Campaign.

KLM employees and their subcontractors , as well as their family members, are excluded from participation.

Participants can participate to the Campaign by doing the following: (i) leaving the following information on the Website: first name, surname, gender, date of birth (optional), e-mail address, departure airport and favourite destination (“Participant Details”), (ii) agree with the applicability of these Terms and Conditions to this Campaign by clicking on the tick box and (iii) click on “Submit” on the Website.

Please note: the selected departure airport and favourite destination by the Participant cannot be swapped for a different departure and destination after they have been submitted. Once the entry is submitted, this entry is final.

The name and e-mail address provided by the Participant serve as the submission number for this Campaign.

Participants may submit one entry per unique e-mail address.

KLM reserves the right to exclude at any time submissions it believes to be fraudulent or submissions that do not meet these General Terms and Condition from participation and/ or winning without stating reasons. This could be due to, for example, cheating or improper use (hacking).

Participation to the Campaign
Participants to the Campaign have the opportunity to win one (1) prize.

The prize (“Prize”) consists of: 1×2 Economy Class return tickets for the Winner and 1 guest from their selected departure airport on the Website via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport to 1 destination marked by the Winner as his/her favourite on the Website during the Campaign Period.

The winner (“Winner”) will be randomly selected by computer draw which will take place late November 2017.

The Winner will receive an e-mail message from KLM before the 15th of December 2017 informing him/her that he/she has won.

KLM is entitled to demand verification of the Winner’s place of residence and age prior to awarding the Prize.

The Winner and his/her guest must travel via Amsterdam Schiphol Airport (the Netherlands).

Tickets will be booked on KLM flights or code-sharing flights only.

The flight should be made within 1 year after the end of Campaign Period.

The total value of the prize is approximately EUR 3200,- (or the equivalent in local currency). No substitution or transfer of the Prize is permitted. The Prize may not be redeemed for cash. If, due to circumstances beyond KLM’s control, KLM is unable to provide the stated prize, KLM reserves the right to award, as a substitute, a prize of equal or higher value.

The Winner is personally responsible for any other taxes, costs and gratuities which are not explicitly included in or are not part of this Prize (such as accommodation during the trip, travel insurance etc.) and the Winner agrees when accepting the Prize that acceptance is entirely at his/her own risk and responsibility.

Both Winner and guest are responsible for having valid travel documents and obtaining the right to enter into the countries they wish to visit. KLM does not supply this and is not responsible for this.

All decisions taken by KLM with respect to this Campaign are final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Personal Data of Participant
KLM will save the following personal data of the Participant: first name, surname, e-mail address, gender and date of birth (optional).

By participating to this Campaign, Participant is expressly consenting to the processing of his personal data by KLM and or any of its subcontractors for the provision of this Campaign.

All personal data gathered through this Campaign will be used confidentially by KLM and/or its subcontractors and always according to the Dutch Personal Data Protection Act. KLM and/or its subcontractors will not use Participants personal data for other commercial purposes and will not sell any Participants personal data to any third party.

Participants agree to receive max two emails from KLM with respect to this Campaign.

KLM will collect from Participants the following personal data: first name, surname, e-mail address, gender, and date of birth (optional).

KLM’s Privacy Policy can be found here and will apply to KLM’s processing of personal data.

System requirements
KLM is not responsible for problems with networks, computer hardware or software or failure of any kind resulting in the form or other Participant Details being restricted, delayed or lost.

Miscellaneous
KLM reserves the right to change the Terms and Conditions, the Prize, the definitions or other information or to cancel the Campaign at any time during the Campaign term without being required to give prior notice of any kind.
