29 January (8AM ESDST) and concluding on 16 April 2019 (11.59PM EST) (Promotion
Period).
PRIZES
One winner and his/her parent or legal guardian will travel to Sydney to participate in a
workshop with representatives from the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the new musical
team, the winner’s short story idea will be transformed into a theatrical creation (limited time
applies for the session of 2 hours). The trip includes two return economy class airfares from
the winner’s closest capital city including one nights’ accommodation and two tickets to see
Charlie and the Chocolate Factory the new musical. (The winner must be available for travel
between 1 June 2019 and 15 July 2019 and the location of this prize will be selected by
Penguin Random House Australia). The winner will also receive a copy of Charlie and the
Chocolate Factory theatre tie-in book. Total value: A$5,000

One winner and his/her parent or legal guardian shall travel to Sydney to participate in two
15minute telephone conversations with a journalist from The Daily Telegraph, the winner will
be given hints and tips on reviewing before seeing the musical and then a second call to help
in writing their theatrical review. The review will need to be submitted by Wednesday 5th
June 2019 and the winner will need to supply a head hsot or photo of the winner at the
musical, the child’s name, age and school. The review will also need to include a star rating
(out of 5 stars). The review will be published in The Sunday Telegraph School Holiday Guide
on the 30th
June 2019. The trip includes two return economy class airfares from the winner’s
closest capital city including one nights’ accommodation and two tickets to see Charlie and
the Chocolate Factory the new musical. (The winner must be available for travel between 1
June 2019 and 30 June 2019 and the location of this prize will be selected by Penguin
Random House Australia). The winner will also receive a copy of Charlie and the Chocolate
Factory theatre tie-in book. Total value: $5,000
There will be five runner’s up prizes on offer which will include a Roald Dahl book library
comprising of the following books in paperback: Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Theatre
Tie-in; Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator; The BFG; Matilda; Danny Champion of the

HOW TO ENTER
To enter this promotion, you must agree to the below Conditions of Entry with Penguin
Random House Australia and, during the Promotion Period:
Visit the contest website at http://www.imaginormousaustralia.com and submit the online
entry form along with your child’s original short story idea of no more than one hundred (100)
words in the space provided.
The completed entry form must include the following information:
the first name of child;
the child’s age;
the parent or legal guardian’s first and last name, and contact information (email and
telephone number); and
the entrant’s preferred individual prize.
Winners will be announced and listed on the Imaginormous website on or around 10 May
2019.
CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Entry into this promotion is deemed acceptance of these Conditions of Entry.
Who can enter?
2. Entry is open to Australian residents and their children aged between 5 to 12 years
old at the time of submission.
3. The directors, management, employees (and their immediate families) of Penguin
Random House Australia, its related entities, participating outlets, printers, suppliers,
providers and agencies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.
What are the conditions of entry?
4. Entries must be received by Penguin Random House Australia during the Promotion
Period.
5. Entrants may enter this promotion only once. Any subsequent entry from an entrant
will be deemed invalid.
6. Entrants may enter this promotion only in their child’s own name. Entries with
incorrect, misleading or fraudulent information will be deemed invalid.
7. If requested by Penguin Random House Australia, the entrant must produce photo
identification or other document until Penguin Random House Australia is satisfied of
the entrant’s and their child’s identity, age, residential address and eligibility to enter
this promotion.
8. Each entrant agrees that Penguin Random House Australia has the right to share
and copy their child’s entry as needed to conduct this competition.
9. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that the entrant has read and understands
Penguin Random House Australia’s Privacy Policy.
How will the prize be awarded?
10. Judging of entries will take place by a panel of judges at Penguin Random House
Australia on or about 1 May 2019. Entries will be judged based on creativity and
imagination. Chance plays no part in determining the winner or winners.
11. The winners will be notified by email.
What are the conditions of being awarded a prize?
12. All prizes will only be awarded following verification of entrant eligibility as required
by Penguin Random House Australia.
13. Penguin Random House Australia will arrange travel, transportation or
accommodation as stated in the prize on behalf of the entrant and their child. In the
event that the entrant’s child is the winner, the entrant acknowledges that:
a) the entrant will cover other expenses in connection with the prize including,
without limitation, spending money, meals, drinks, laundry charges,
activities, incidentals, taxes (excluding departure and any other flight
associated taxes included within the prize), gratuities, services charges,
passports, visas, travel insurance and all other ancillary costs;
b) all travel will be subject to the relevant carrier’s conditions of carriage;
c) the entrant is responsible for ensuring that he or she and their child are fit to
travel and have received appropriate immunisations and/or health checks
prior to taking the prize;
d) the entrant is responsible for assessing the safety, conditions, health,
government requirements or other issues that may exist at any destination;
and
e) the entrant is responsible for managing any acts of God (such as adverse
weather conditions) or industrial action or civil commotion that may occur
whilst the entrant and their child are travelling or at any destination.
14. Penguin Random House Australia may forfeit the prize in respect of that winner if:
a) no such response is received from the winner within 10 days of notification;
b) the winner refuses or is unable to accept the prize;
c) there are eligibility or other verification issues relating to the winner; or
d) the winner (and/or any nominated companion) is unable to travel in
accordance with any travel booking made using the prize or any specified
timeframe.
15. The stated value of the prize comprises the Recommended Retail Price including
GST. Penguin Random House Australia accepts no responsibility for any variation in
prize value. The winner may not exchange, or take as cash, the prize or any portion
of the prize.
16. Penguin Random House Australia accepts no responsibility for prizes lost or
damaged in the process of delivery or transit.
17. The entrant agrees that, in the event that their child’s entry is a winning entry, the
entrant and their child will participate in all reasonable promotional activities relating
to this promotion as requested by Penguin Random House Australia. As part of
these activities, the entrant consents to Penguin Random House Australia using
their child’s first name, likeness, image and/or voice for promotional activities until
the end of the promotional period (31 July 2019) of time without further notification or
remuneration.
18. If this promotion is not capable of running as planned for any reason beyond the
reasonable control of Penguin Random House Australia, Penguin Random House
Australia reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or
suspend this promotion and/or provide an alternative prize.
19. These Conditions of Entry are governed by the laws applicable in the State of
Victoria. The entrant irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the
courts of Victoria.
