Competition Terms and Conditions: VIDEO ENTRIES
1. GENERAL
(a) Nickelodeon Australia Management Pty Ltd (ACN 071 493 340) of Ground Floor, 4-16 Yurong Street
Darlinghurst NSW 2010 (“Nickelodeon”) is the promoter of the NICKELODEON SLIME CUP 2018
Competition (“Competition”)
(b) By entering this Competition you (as an “Entrant”) agree to these Competition terms and conditions (“Terms
and Conditions”).
(c) The Competition is a Game of Skill and winners will be selected on the exhibition of creativity and originality
and the decision of the judges is final. Nickelodeon will not enter correspondence regarding their decisions.
(d) Defined terms:
(i) Competition means the NICKELODEON SLIME CUP 2018 competition;
(ii) Program means the NICKELODEON SLIME CUP 2018 program based on the Competition;
(iii) SLIME CUP Venue means the shoot location of the Program as advised to the SLIME CUP Teams
and Prize winners by Nickelodeon;
(iv) Terms and Conditions means these terms and conditions governing the Competition;
(v) Website means www.nick.com.au and/or any derivative.
2. ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
(a) Australian or New Zealand entrants: Entrants must be either Australian or New Zealand residents aged 9 to
13 years as at 1 July 2018. Entrants must be in teams of two (2) with a team name and outfit which
celebrates or is inspired by a Nickelodeon show or character. Team names should not include the word
“SLIME”. Teams must wear their outfit/costume in their Video.
(b) Employees, agents and contractors of Nickelodeon, any of its affiliate, parent or subsidiary companies or
any agency associated with the Competition, or direct family members of any of the foregoing, are not
eligible to enter the Competition.
(c) The Competition is open to teams of two (2) (think besties, siblings, cousins, long-lost friends!) who meet
the above requirements and may be required to show proof they comply. It is at the sole discretion of
Nickelodeon to determine eligibility. Each pair must complete all details required in the online entry form
process on the Website, including confirmation a parent/guardian gives their consent for each Entrant and
provides their contact details. Each team may only enter the Competition once. If successful, both
members must be able to accept the Prize and participate in SLIME CUP 2018. Where one member is
unable to participate, the pair will be deemed ineligible.
3. ENTRY
(a) To enter, Entrants must:
(i) Visit the Website between 12.01am (AEDT) on Saturday 7 April 2018 and 11:59pm (AEST)
Sunday 22 April 2018and complete the entry forms, including: each Entrant’s full name, address,
date of birth and gender, telephone number, Entrants’ team name and email addresses and
confirmation a parent/guardian consents to each Entrant’s entry to the Competition and provide
parent/guardian contact information including name, phone number and email address Nickelodeon
reserves the right to make changes to the entry period on the Website, which shall be reflected in
updated Terms and Conditions. As such, Entrants are advised to regularly check the Terms and
Conditions. Entries received after the closing date will not be eligible.
(ii) Create and upload a video of both team members completing the Mandatory Tasks (listed below) to
demonstrate why together they will be the best team at SLIME CUP 2018 (“Video”).
Video can be uploaded through the Website after completing the entry form. Video must not
exceed two (2) minutes duration, and if so, will only be judged up to the two (2) minute mark of the
Video and may be deemed ineligible if they do not exhibit all of the Mandatory Tasks. The Video must
be a digital video file (e.g. MPEG, MP4, AVI or MOV or VLC format) If uploaded through the Website,
it should not exceed 500MB. Video must not include any content Entrants’ do not own or have
permission to use (including pictures and music!). If the Video includes any family or friends other
than Entrants, Entrants must ensure such persons consent is obtained to be in the Video and these
Terms and Conditions.
(iii) The Video must include the following Mandatory Tasks, which are also set out in the Information
Sheet available on the Website. Each Video entry must include the following elements:
1. Wear your team outfit, inspired by ANY Nickelodeon show or character.
2. Tell us your names, your team name, where you’re from and how old you are.
3. Strike a team pose.
4. Explain why you are Nickelodeon superfans and what you LOVE about Nickelodeon.
5. Tell us why you think you deserve to be on SLIME CUP.
6. Show us any special skills or talents.
7. Show us your SLIME CUP training regime.

8. Slime yourself!
9. Have fun! Make us laugh! AND DON’T DO ANYTHING RISKY OR DANGEROUS!
(iv) Entrants are required to wear a distinct team uniform or clothing of their own design. The uniform and
clothing should not feature prominent logos or characters which do not appear on Nickelodeon (for
example, Batman or Superman). Entrants acknowledge that a failure to comply may render them
ineligible from the Competition.
(v) Confirm that a parent/guardian consents to each Entrant’s entry to the Competition and provide their
contact information requested by Nickelodeon.
(b) Any person who fails to provide all of the information requested as part of an entry process will not
be eligible for the Prize.
(c) Any information, photographs, audio-visual or other material provided to Nickelodeon by an entrant as part
of an entry to the Competition will not be returned to entrants. Entrants are advised to not send original
material via post. Nickelodeon will not be liable to any Entrant in any way, if for reasons beyond
Nickelodeon’s reasonable control including without limitation any failure of technology, the Competition is
cancelled or suspended, or Nickelodeon fails to receive any entry. Nickelodeon accepts no responsibility for
lost entries.
(d) Nominated parent/guardians will receive an email with a copy of all information submitted by their child
(excluding the Video).
4. JUDGING
(a) The Competition will be judged by a panel of judges representing Nickelodeon between 23 April 2018 and
30 April 2018 (or such other dates as determined by Nickelodeon) and SLIME CUP judges will choose
twelve (12) teams in total, from both the Live Auditions and Video Auditions (“SLIME CUP Teams”) to win
the Prize.
(b) In addition to judging the Videos, Nickelodeon may select a shortlist of Entrants who may be required
participate in a Skype/telephone interview with a Nickelodeon representative. Nickelodeon may consider the
performance of such shortlist Entrants in the interview when determining the Prize winners. Nickelodeon is
under no obligation to select and interview a shortlist and reserves the right to select Prize winners outright.
Entrants agree Nickelodeon may record the interview provided it notifies the Finalist Teams of its intention to
do so and Finalist Teams agrees Nickelodeon may use the recording of the interview by any media,
worldwide in perpetuity, including within other Nickelodeon programming during that time.
(c) The successful SLIME CUP Teams will be contacted by telephone no later than close of business on 30
April 2018 or such other later date as determined by Nickelodeon, if necessary. If Nickelodeon is unable to
contact a SLIME CUP Team after reasonable efforts, the Prize will be forfeited, no alternative prizing will be
awarded and Nickelodeon may appoint the next best judged team in their place.
(d) Nickelodeon may request the SLIME CUP Teams to withhold from posting anything related to the
Competition on their own social media platforms until Nickelodeon has announced the SLIME CUP Teams
on its own channels (including without limitation Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and any on-air channels).
5. PRIZE
(a) Each of the SLIME Cup Teams will receive the Prize being:
(i) Transport: 3 x return economy airfares from their nearest capital city/major regional airport to
Sydney, Australia (valued at up to $1,000 per child). For clarity, Nickelodeon will fund airfares for 1
x parent/guardian per SLIME Cup Team
However: If a winner lives in Central NSW region or within a 200km radius of Sydney NSW,
winners must make their own way to and from Sydney where the SLIME CUP Venue will be as
advised by Nickelodeon;
(ii) Accommodation: Up to four (4) nights’ accommodation with a minimum rating of three (3) stars in
Sydney NSW (valued up to $800 per child);
However: If a winner lives in Central NSW region or within a 200km radius of Sydney NSW,
accommodation element of the Prize will be forfeited and accommodation will be the sole
responsibility of the winner.
(iii) Transfers: Ground transfers to and from airport and hotel / SLIME CUP Venue (as detailed below)
(valued up to $100 per child);
However: If a winner lives in Central NSW region or within a 200km radius of Sydney NSW, this
transfer element of the Prize will be forfeited and winner will be responsible for making their own
way to and from the SLIME CUP Venue.
(iv) Food and Beverages: Food and beverages for every shoot day a winner is required (valued up to
$500 per child for interstate SLIME CUP teams). NSW based SLIME CUP Teams will receive lunch
and snacks;
(v) PLUS: a role in the adventure show ‘SLIME CUP’ (the “Program”) to be filmed and aired on the
Nickelodeon channel (money can’t buy opportunity).

(vi) For Entrants living outside New South Wales (NSW), Nickelodeon will fund economy airfares and
accommodation costs for one parent/guardian for each SLIME CUP Team as part of the Prize. In
the event an attending parent/guardian is not the legal guardian of either team member, the non-
attending parent/guardian will be required to complete documentation giving the attending
parent/guardian express permission to attend with his/her child.
The winners will take part in adventure challenges, games and stunts as part of their role in SLIME CUP.
Prize is valued at up to $4,800 for each SLIME CUP Team (i.e. up to $2,400 per child).
Total Prize pool is valued at up to $19,200
(b) The SLIME CUP Teams will also be eligible to win prizes as part of their participation in the Program. Terms
and conditions of the individual competitions within the Program will be explained to the SLIME CUP Teams
during filming, and prize details will be supplied concurrently.
(c) The Program is anticipated to be held in Sydney NSW (“SLIME CUP Venue”) with details to be provided to
the SLIME CUP Teams prior. Nickelodeon reserves the right to vary the venue prior to the Program, with
Prize elements to be amended accordingly.
(d) Due to the nature of the prizes all prizes must be accepted personally by prize winners, and if the foregoing
does not occur, Nickelodeon reserves the right to award that prize to an alternate team with no obligation or
liability to the replaced SLIME CUP Team. Nickelodeon may also require at its discretion prize winners be
accompanied by a parent or guardian when collecting any prize. If any part of a prize requires shipment to a
finalist team member or SLIME CUP Team member Nickelodeon will pay the shipment costs to that
member’s usual residential address in Australia. Nickelodeon will not be responsible for insuring any part of
the prize during shipment or for any loss or damage to the prize during shipment. Once collected
Nickelodeon is not responsible for the use or distribution of any prize.
(e) Nickelodeon may require any person collecting or receiving a prize to sign these Terms and Conditions,
show photograph identification and/or sign a deed declaring that they have collected or received the prize
before Nickelodeon gives the prize over. Nickelodeon may decline to award a prize if in its reasonable
opinion a prize winner is prevented by law from receiving the prize, awarding the prize to the prize winner
may be unsafe, would contravene any law, regulation, code of practice or the prize winner has not complied
with these Terms and Conditions. Nickelodeon will not be liable to any prize winner and a prize winner will
have no right, title and interest in any prize, including the Prize, and must return or refund any prize awarded
if the prize winner is found to be ineligible to enter this Competition or if Nickelodeon awards a prize,
including the Prize, in error.
(f) Entrants must be available to travel for up to seven (7) consecutive days between 11 May 2018 and 14 May
2018 in order to accept the Prize. These dates are at the complete discretion of Nickelodeon and may be
subject to change. Date details will be provided to the SLIME CUP Teams when they are notified as being a
SLIME CUP Team. Where a SLIME CUP Team is unable to travel during these dates, the Prize will be
forfeited and Nickelodeon may appoint the next best judged team in a team’s place.
(g) Nickelodeon will not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited
to direct or consequential loss) or for personal injury sustained, as a result of taking and/or using any prize
under this Competition, including participating in the Program. Nickelodeon will not be responsible for
replacing or retrieving any prize sent to an incorrect address based on incorrect details of an Entrant.
(h) If a prize referred to in this Competition becomes unavailable for any reason Nickelodeon reserves the right
to substitute that prize for an item of similar value. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
Nickelodeon accepts no responsibility for any variation in the prize value. No prize can be used with any
other discounts/special offers. Frequent Flyer points are not available for flights in the Prize.
(i) Each member of a SLIME CUP Team must depart from and return to the same point of departure and travel
together. If a SLIME CUP Team determines that travel insurance is required, they will be responsible for
arranging and paying for such travel insurance.
(j) The SLIME CUP Teams and other children participating in the acceptance of any prize (if applicable) will
need to provide Nickelodeon with a letter from their parent or guardian giving express permission for them to
participate, and a letter from their school principal giving permission for them to miss school to participate.
(k) Each member of the SLIME CUP Teams and their parent/guardian may be required to enter an agreement
with Nickelodeon relating to Program participation covering issues including occupational health & safety
and intellectual property, arising as a result of Program participation. If a team member does not enter this
agreement, they may not be able to participate in the
Program and their team may be disqualified.
(l) SLIME CUP Teams may be required to promote Nickelodeon, the Program, Program sponsors, prize
sponsors and/or the Competition at the reasonable request of Nickelodeon, as well as participate in the
creation and/or production of promotional material for third party sponsors of SLIME CUP, including without
limitation television commercials for third party sponsor products, without Nickelodeon providing additional
compensation. Nickelodeon and/or any third party sponsor may require each SLIME CUP Team member to
execute any document necessary to give effect to this Clause 5(l).

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
(a) Nickelodeon may, and may licence others to record, reproduce, publish, adapt, communicate or otherwise
use the entrants’ and/or prize winners’ performances, names, voices, and likeness for the purposes of
producing any television program or other audio and/or audio-visual material and for advertising and
publicity purposes in any media in perpetuity without needing to provide additional compensation.
(b) Any material, including Competition entries and images and/or audio-visual material included in Competition
entries, provided by an Entrant, and/or prize winner in association with any Competition will become
Nickelodeon’s property and Nickelodeon may reproduce, publish, adapt, communicate, cause to be seen
and/or heard in public or otherwise use any such material throughout the world in perpetuity, and licence
others to do the same without needing to provide additional compensation.
(c) Nickelodeon may require an Entrant, finalist team member or SLIME CUP Team, or a parent/guardian on
their behalf to execute any document necessary to give effect to 6(a) and/or (b).
7. WARRANTIES
(a) Nickelodeon may require any prize winner to warrant and represent in writing to Nickelodeon they:
(i) have not been charged or convicted of any criminal offence in Australia or internationally; and
(ii) have not been involved in any activity that if made public is likely to bring Nickelodeon into disrepute
and will not do so in future;
(b) Entrants warrant and represent to Nickelodeon that nothing in any entry to any Competition infringes the
rights, including copyright, of any third party and is not defamatory or obscene and does not breach any
state or commonwealth law of Australia or New Zealand.
(c) Entrants indemnify Nickelodeon against any claim, loss or damage suffered by Nickelodeon as a direct or
indirect consequence of a breach by the entrant of any warranty or representation contained in these
Competition Terms and Conditions.
(d) If Nickelodeon becomes aware a prize winner is breaching a warranty in these Competition Terms and
Conditions or made subsequently to Nickelodeon, Nickelodeon may deem that prize winner ineligible.
8. PRIVACY
(a) Nickelodeon’s Privacy Policy is available on its website: http://www.nick.com.au/info/privacy-policy
(b) To conduct the Competition, Nickelodeon may collect personal information, being any information that can
be used to personally identify Entrants, or information that Entrants are reasonably identifiable from,
including, each name, age, residential and/or mailing address (including postcode), telephone number, email
address, IP address, nationality and/or passport and/or personal identifiable information (“Personal Data”).
(c) The provision of Personal Data may be a condition of entering any competition run by Nickelodeon and
Entrants consent to such use. For competitions, Nickelodeon is required to collect some Personal Data
under state gaming legislation applicable to the state in which the competition is being held, for example, the
Gaming and Liquor Administration Act 2007 (NSW) for competitions held in New South Wales.
(d) Nickelodeon may disclose Personal Data to third parties, including Nickelodeon’s related companies,
representatives, employees, contractors, service providers (including QIC Limited), prize suppliers in
connection with the Competition. Such third parties may be outside Australia.
(e) Nickelodeon may use such Personal Data:
(i) in connection with the Competition which the Entrant entered, including without limitation for the
purposes of sending electronic messages, social media communications, VOIP communications
and/or telephoning entrants;
(ii) for any purpose an Entrant gives his/her express consent on entry;
(iii) as set out in these terms and conditions; and
(iv) in accordance with Nickelodeon’s Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as amended;
(f) Such Personal Data will be entered into a database. Entrants may request to access, edit, correct and/or
opt-out their Personal Data in accordance with Nickelodeon’s Privacy Policy by contacting Nickelodeon on
vimnau.privacy@vimn.com. Entrants may direct any complaint related to treatment or use of their Personal
Data to vimnau.privacy@vimn.com, to be handled according to Nickelodeon’s Privacy Policy.
9. GOVERNING LAW
(a) These Terms and Conditions are to be construed according to the laws New South Wales, Australia and are
subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that state.
(b) Any queries regarding the Competition should specify the name of the Competition and be addressed to:
