BEER THE BEAUTIFUL TRUTH QUIZ Promotion
1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these conditions. By participating, entrants
agree to be bound by these conditions. Entries must comply with these conditions to be valid.
2. Entry is open to residents of Australia who are 18 years and over. Employees and their
immediate families of the Promoter and its agencies associated with this promotion are
ineligible to enter.
3. The promotion commences at 00.01 AEDT on 01/09/2017 and closes at 23.59 AEST on
29/12/2017 (“Promotional Period”).
4. To enter, eligible individuals must undertake the following steps during the Promotional Period:
(a) visit www.beerthebeautifultruth.com and access the online quiz form and online entry
form for this promotion;
(b) answer all sections of the online quiz form; and
(c) fully complete all sections of the online entry form (including first name, last name,
address, email address, date of birth and mobile number) and submit the online quiz
and entry form during the Promotional Period.
5. Limit applies of one (1) entry per person per day.
6. Incomplete or indecipherable entries will be deemed invalid.
MINOR PRIZES:
7. There will be one (1) draw each fortnight during the Promotional Period (each a “Fortnightly
Draw”). There will be eight (8) Fortnightly Draws in total. Each Fortnightly Draw will be drawn
using entries received during that fortnight (as specified in the table below) and from all valid,
non-winning entries from previous Fortnightly Draws (if any). Each Fortnightly Draw will take
place at 15:00 on the following Wednesday after entries close for that Fortnightly Draw (as
specified in the table below) with the first Draw taking place on 20/09/2017 and the last
Fortnightly Draw taking place on 03/01/2018. All Fortnightly Draws will take place at Traction
Digital, Level 1, 100 Harris St Pyrmont, NSW 2009. The first one (1) valid entry drawn in each
Fortnightly Draw will receive a Minor Prize (as defined in clause 9). Details of the Fortnightly

8. All valid non-winning entries from each Fortnightly Draw will be automatically entered into any
subsequent Fortnightly Draws.
9. The minor prize consists of a Beautiful Truth Gift Pack comprised of:
(a) 2 x Beer Paddles;
(b) 6 x Tasting Glasses;
(c) 1 x 6-Pack of selected Lion beers; and
(d) 1 x Toohey’s Cook Book,
together, the “Minor Prize”.
TOTAL value of each Minor Prize is AUD$102.88 (based on recommended retail prices).
There will be a total of eight (8) Minor Prizes.
Total value of all Minor Prizes is AUD$823.04.
10. Limit applies of one (1) Minor Prize per person (excluding SA residents).
11. Minor Prize winners will be notified by telephone and email within two (2) business days of the
relevant Fortnightly Draw.
MAJOR PRIZE
12. All valid winning and non-winning entries from the Fortnightly Draws will automatically be
entered into the major prize draw (“Major Prize Draw”).
13. The Major Prize Draw will take place at 15:00 AEDT on 03/01/2018 at Traction Digital, Level 1,
100 Harris St Pyrmont, NSW 2009. The winner will be determined at random by an electronic
draw process. The first valid entry drawn will win the major prize.
14. The major prize consists of a trip for the winner and one (1) adult guest to one of the three
destinations as selected by the winner: Mornington Peninsula in VIC, Blue Mountains in NSW
or Launceston in TAS.
15. Major Prize to Mornington Peninsula includes the following:
(a) Return economy class airfares for 2 from winners nearest Australian Capital city to
Melbourne (RRP = $1600.00)
(b) All airline and airport taxes
(c) 4 days car hire with unlimited kms (minimum drivers age 21 yrs with full licence) (RRP

16. There is one (1) Major Prize to be won. The Major Prize is valued (based on recommended
retail prices) at up to AUD$5600 (depending on date and point of departure). All other ancillary
costs including but not limited to insurance, taxes (excluding GST), meals (unless specified
above), drinks (unless specified above), transport to and from the departure point, transfers
(unless specified above), additional spending money (unless specified above), and any and all
other expenses (including items of a personal nature and in-room charges) are the
responsibility of the winner and their guest.
17. The Promoter is not responsible for any costs or expenses associated with accepting,
attending or otherwise using the Major Prize. The winner and their guest must be Australian
residents aged 18 years and over.
18. It is a condition of accepting the Major Prize that the winner and their guest arrange valid travel
insurance with the highest available coverage, at their own expense, for their period of travel.
The Promoter takes no responsibility for the winner and/or their guest failing to take out travel
insurance and any issues or costs that arise as a result. The Major Prize is a single event trip
for the winner and their guest and cannot be separated into separate trips or components. The
winner and their guest must depart from and return to the same departure point and travel
together.
19. The Major Prize winner will be notified by telephone and email within two (2) business days of
the Major Prize. The Major Prize winner must accept the Major Prize by return email by
03/04/2018.
20. The Major Prize travel must be completed by 31st of May 2018. Travel block out periods
include all Australian School & Public Holidays along with all other special event periods such
as Australia Day or Easter Long Weekend. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any
variations in value of the Major Prize, to the extent permitted by law and subject to any
directions from a regulatory authority. Frequent flyer points will not form part of the Major Prize.
21. All travel arrangements must be must be made by the prize winner through Free-2-Travel
Holidays Pty Ltd (ABN 96 101 233 569) on 02 9098 6972 or its agents.
22. The Major Prize is subject to the terms and conditions, including any booking and reservation
policies, of various third party prize suppliers, including Free-2-Travel Holidays Pty Ltd (ABN 96
101 233 569), participating airlines, transfer company, accommodation providers and other
third party prize suppliers (together “Third Party Prize Suppliers”). The Promoter is not
responsible or liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner and/or their guest as
a result of the conduct of any Third Party Prize Suppliers, or otherwise as a result of the winner

accepting and/or using any prize or element of a prize offered in this promotion, except for any
loss, damage or injury which is due to the negligence or wilful misconduct of the Promoter or
which otherwise cannot be excluded by law.
23. Accommodation and flight arrangements, including Third Party Prize Suppliers, will be
determined by the Promoter in its sole discretion. The Promoter may refuse any requested
changes, and will not accept any request made within 24 days of departure. If any requested
change is accepted by the Promoter, change fees may be applicable.
24. Before the Major Prize is awarded, the winner and their guest will be required to sign an
agreement to release the Promoter from, and indemnify the Promoter against, any loss,
damage or injury arising from the use or participation in the Major Prize, except to the extent
any loss, damage or injury is due to the negligence or wilful misconduct of the Promoter.
25. The Major Prize winner and their guest may also be required to provide a credit card imprint at
check-in to the accommodation that will be used to charge for incidentals (such as optional
activities) and/or as a bond in case of damage to the property.
GENERAL
26. The names of all Minor Prize winners and the Major Prize winner will be published online at
www.beerthebeautifultruth.com from 03/01/2018.
27. The total RRP of all Minor Prizes and the Major Prize is up to AUD$6423.04.
28. In each Fortnightly Draw and in the Major Prize Draw, the Promoter may draw multiple entries
in addition to the winning entry, and record the order in which they were drawn, in the event an
invalid or an ineligible entry is drawn.
29. If any Minor Prizes or Major Prizes remain unclaimed as at 11:59pm AEST on 03/04/2018 an
unclaimed prize draw will be conducted. The unclaimed prize draw will take place at 15:00
AEST on 11/04/2018 at the same place as the original draws in order to distribute any Minor
Prizes or the Major Prize if unclaimed, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority. The
unclaimed prize winners (if any) will be notified by telephone and email within two (2) business
days of the draw and their names will be published online at www.beerthebeautifultruth.com
from 11/04/2018. In the event the Major Prize is awarded to an unclaimed prize draw winner,
an extended travel date will be confirmed by the Promoter.
30. Prizes are not transferable, exchangable and are not redeemable for cash. The Promoter’s
decision is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.
31. If for any reason a winner does not accept or use a prize (or an element of a prize) at the time
stipulated by the Promoter, then the prize (or that element of the prize) will be forfeited and will
not be redeemable for cash.
32. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter assumes no responsibility for any failure to
receive an entry or for inaccurate information or for any loss, damage or injury in connection
with the conduct of the promotion whether as a result of:
(a) technical or telecommunications problems, including security breaches, technical
website malfunctions or glitches; or
(d) acts or omissions (including negligent acts of omissions) of the Promoter’s servants or
agents involved in the conduct of this promotion.
In the event of such problems or conduct, the Promoter may modify, cancel, terminate or
suspend the promotion, subject to any directions from a regulatory authority.

33. If any prize or any element of a prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s
control, or is unable to be delivered to a winner’s address, the Promoter may substitute a prize
or element of a prize of equal or greater value at the Promoter’s sole discretion, subject to any
written directions from the relevant authorities. Winners will not be entitled to any additional
compensation in the event that the prize or element of a prize has been substituted at equal or
greater value.
34. The Promoter reserves the right to request verification of age, identity, residential address and
any other information from entrants relevant to entry into or participation in this promotion.
Verification is at the discretion of the Promoter, whose decision is final. The Promoter reserves
the right to disqualify any individual who provides false information, fails to provide information,
conspires with others to gain an unfair advantage or is otherwise involved in any conduct that
involves manipulating, interfering or tampering with this promotion or otherwise preventing the
conduct of the promotion as intended by the Promoter. In the event of such problems or
conduct, then the Promoter may (where necessary with approval from the relevant lottery
authority) modify, cancel, terminate or suspend the promotion.
35. Any cost associated with accessing the promotional website is the entrant’s sole responsibility
and may vary depending on the Internet service provider used. The use of any automated entry
software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically
enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by, or on behalf of, that
entrant invalid.
36. Entrants will be refused service of alcohol or provision of an alcoholic beverage prize if it would
breach any relevant laws, codes or policies including those of the relevant liquor licensee
relating to the responsible service of alcohol. The Promoter supports the responsible service of
alcohol.
37. Any personal property rights in entries are owned by the Promoter. Details from entries will be
collected and used for the purpose of conducting this promotion (which may include disclosure
to third parties, including local lottery authorities, for the purpose of processing and conducting
the promotion) and for promotional purposes surrounding this promotion. By entering this
promotion entrants consent to the use of their information as described and agree that the
Promoter may use this information, or disclose it to other organisations that may use it, in any
media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference or
payment to the entrant. Entrants may access, change and/or update their personal information
and obtain a copy of the Promoter’s privacy policy by contacting the Promoter on 1800 308 388
