TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By entering the Sunrise Cash Cow Competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:

1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms and conditions of entry.

2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to residents of Australia, 18 years if age or older, where the Channel Seven signal is received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Ltd, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion are not eligible to enter.

3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on Monday 4 August 2014 at 6.00am (AEST) and concludes on Friday 8 August 2014 at 4.30pm (AEST) (“the Competition Period”) however, the eligible entry period for each daily prize will commence and conclude on the following dates and times:

3.2 In order to enter, viewers must watch Sunrise (“the Program”) on the Seven Network during the Competition Period. Each morning throughout the Competition Period there will be a competition segment aired during the Program (or any replacement program broadcast in the Sunrise timeslot) which will disclose a code word each day.
3.3 In order to enter, viewers must either:
a) ring 1902 55 77 07 (Charge $0.55 fixed – Helpline 1300 851 419) and register the daily code word, the entrant’s name, address, state, postcode, contact daytime telephone number (including STD area code)
b) send a text message/SMS including the daily code word and the entrant’s full name and address to 19 777 077 – (Charge $0.55 – Helpline 1300 851 419);
c) use your smartphone to log on to https://enter.2urmob.com/sunrise click on the Sunrise Competition link and select the option you prefer (number of entries – 1 entry for $0.55, 2 entries for $1.05, 5 entries for $2.50, 15 entries for $7.00 or 20 entries for $9.00 – Helpline 1300 851 419).
3.4 For viewers in all states, the entry costs for 1902 entry will be fixed $0.55 (including GST). Higher rates apply for calls to the 1902 prefix phone numbers from mobile phones. Single SMS entries will be charged at the premium rate of $0.55 (including GST). Entries via your smartphone will be charged according to your selection (ie $0.55, $1.05, $2.50, $7.00 or $9.00 (including GST)) and may include download charges in accordance with your mobile phone contract. 3.5 Entrants (including the winners) may enter the competition as many times as they like. The time of entry will in each case be the time the SMS message and/or 1902 telephone call are received by the Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd database.
3.6 For clarification, entrants may use any one of the five codewords already advertised during the Sunrise programs throughout the competition period to be a valid entry.
3.7 SMS entries via the internet or computer generation are invalid and will not be accepted.

4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be one (1) prize winner each day (5 prize winners in total throughout Competition Period). Winners will receive:
1 x $500 for each winner drawn
An additional 1 x $9,500 for each winner that answers their telephone when called as set out in clauses 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7 and 5.8.
TOTAL PRIZE POOL VALUE: $50,000
Cheques will be made payable to each winner to the value of the prize won.
4.2 In participating in the prizes, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed and photographed. The winners grant the promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and they will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.3 Winners should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.
4.4 The winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story and or photographs to any media or other organisation.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 One (1) prize winner each day (5 in total) will be drawn from the national pool of daily entrants received. Each entrant who has entered the competition over the Competition Period and registered all details in accordance with clause 3 by either using their smartphone, the 1902 prefix telephone number or a mobile phone with a reply path whose SMS message has passed through the Telco carriers between the daily competition dates and times as stated in clause 3.1 (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be entered into the relevant daily draws following the close of entries for that draw. Daily draws will be conducted on Monday 4 August 2014, Tuesday 5 August 2014, Wednesday 6 August 2014, Thursday 7 August 2014 and Friday 8 August 2014 at 4.40pm AEST. All draws will take place at Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide SA 5000. Each winner drawn in accordance with clause 5.1 will win $500.
5.2 Each day from Tuesday 4 August 2014 to Monday 11 August 2014 (inclusive) Sunrise will attempt to announce the one (1) winner for that day live on the Sunrise program. The winner must be available to receive a telephone call confirming their prize on the dates detailed in clauses 5.4, 5.5, 5.6, 5.7 and 5.8 below to be able to win an additional $9,500.
5.3 The telephone call must be answered personally and must not go to an answering machine and/or voicemail as it will be deemed invalid and not answered under these terms and conditions.
5.4 On Tuesday 5 August 2014 Sunrise will call the Day 1 winner from the draw conducted in clause 5.1. The entrant will be contacted as per the telephone number provided within their IVR, SMS or smartphone entry. The entrant will be required to answer the phone within 5 rings. If winner does not answer the phone any claim to the additional prize of $9,500 will be forfeited and the Day 1 additional prize value will jackpot and be carried over to the Day 2 prize pool.
5.5 On Wednesday 6 August 2014 Sunrise will call the Day 2 winner from the draw conducted in clause 5.1. The entrant will be contacted as per the telephone number provided within their IVR, SMS or smartphone entry. The entrant will be required to answer the phone within 5 rings. If winner does not answer the phone any claim to the additional prize of $9,500 will be forfeited and the Day 2 additional prize will jackpot and be carried over to Day 3 prize pool.
5.6 On Thursday 7 August 2014 the hosts of Sunrise will call the Day 3 winner from the draw conducted in clause 5.1. The entrant will be contacted as per the telephone number provided within their IVR, SMS or smartphone entry. The entrant will be required to answer the phone within 5 rings. If the winner does not answer the phone any claim to the additional prize of $9.500.00 will be forfeited and the Day 3 additional prize will jackpot and be carried over to Day 4 prize pool.
5.7 On Friday 8 August 2014 Sunrise will call the Day 4 winner from the draw conducted in clause 5.1. The entrant will be contacted as per the telephone number provided within their IVR, SMS or smartphone entry. The entrant will be required to answer the phone within 5 rings. If winner does not answer the phone any claim to the additional prize of $9,500 will be forfeited and the Day 4 additional prize will jackpot and be carried over to Day 5 prize pool.
5.8 On Monday 11 August 2014 Sunrise will call the Day 5 winner from the draw conducted in clause 5.1. The entrant will be contacted as per the telephone number provided within their IVR, SMS or smartphone entry. The entrant will be required to answer the phone within 5 rings. If the winner does not answer the phone any claim to the additional prize of $9,500 will be forfeited and any claim to the additional prize will be forfeited.
5.9 In the event that any jackpot value remains at the end of the Sunrise program on Monday 11 August 2014 the jackpot value will be included in a final draw from all non-winning entrants and will be held on Monday 11 August 2014 at 10:00 AEST at Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide SA 5000. Winners of the final jackpot draw can win up to (and no more than) $10,000 each and the number of winners will be dependent on the value of the remaining Jackpot.
5.10 Only one prize per person, per household will be awarded (with the exception of SA residents who are entitled to win more than one prize).
5.11 Daily winners may be announced in Sunrise the next day. Winners will be notified by phone call within 2 days of the draw and a letter advising winners of their prize will also be mailed out. All winners will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 18 August 2014.
5.12 The promoter’s decision is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.13 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
5.14 Subject to State government legislation an unclaimed prize draw from all non-winning entries will take place at Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide SA 5000 on Tuesday 11 November 2014 at 10.00am AEDT. Winners will be notified by phone call within 2 days of the draw and a letter advising winners of their prize will also be mailed out, winners details will be published in the Public Notices section of The Australian newspaper on Monday 17 November 2014.

6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 The Seven Network (Operations) Ltd and affiliates, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, and their associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion, will take no responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.2 The Seven Network (Operations) Ltd and affiliates, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, and their associated employees, agencies and companies associated with this promotion will not be liable for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss or claim, damages, costs and expenses suffered, sustained or incurred (including but not limited to indirect or consequential) as a result of, or arising out of, or in any way connected with this promotion and/or its prizes that may occur:
a) during the draw;
b) in the participation in any prize;
c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the competition or the publication of any material, including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other person;
e) in relation to failure of an SMS entry message to be received by the promoter on account of technical problems or traffic congestion;
f) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion; or
g) due to circumstances outside the promoter’s reasonable control.
6.3 Subject to State Regulation, in the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions.
6.4 Seven Network (Operations) Ltd and affiliates, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies associated with this promotion assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to State Regulation.
6.5 Subject to State Regulation, if for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition.

7.1 The promoter is Seven Network (Operations) Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) of 38-42 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont, NSW 2009.
7.2 Entry details remain the property of the promoter. Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd on behalf of Seven Network Limited (ABN 65 052 845 262) and its related entities (“Seven”), is collecting the entrant’s personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this competition (including but not limited to determining and notifying the winners). The entrant’s personal information may be disclosed to Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd for this purpose. The entrant may request access to his or her personal information by writing to Privacy Officer, Mnet Mobile Pty Ltd, Level 1, 16 Anster Street, Adelaide SA 5000 or emailing privacy@mnetmobile.com.
