Terms and conditions
Entry into this competition constitutes agreement with the following terms and conditions.
DURATION OF THE PROMOTION
The Competition commences on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 9.00am AEST on March and closes on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:59pm AEST (“the Promotion Period”).
METHOD OF ENTRY
Entrants must log onto www.advertiser.com.au/saweekendcovercomp (“the Site”) and follow the prompts to submit their entry between 9 a.m. on May 17 and 11.59 p.m. on June 14. Entries must be submitted via the Site and must be received within the Promotion Period. No other form of entry will be accepted. All entries are deemed to be received at the time of receipt in the Promotion database and NOT at the time of transmission by the entrant. The Promoter’s records as to time of receipt are considered final and conclusive.
FORMAT OF ENTRY

Only entries received in the above specified formats will be acceptable. Entries in other format, or with incomplete uploads will be disqualified. Please do not submit your working files but ensure that you keep them, should you be chosen as the winner.
If you are submitting a low resolution file, shot via an iPhone or similar, please ensure that the concept is able to be recreated and re-shot in a high resolution format.
NATURE AND VALUE OF THE PRIZES
The winning entrant will have their entry used as the front cover of the June 28 Edition of the SA Weekend magazine. They will also be profiled editorially in that issue and will have their winning entry displayed at an exhibition on June 27. They will also receive a $1000 gift voucher to spend in Rundle Mall, thanks to Rundle Mall Management Authoirty.
PLACE, DATE AND TIME OF DRAW
The draw will be conducted at Advertiser Newspapers Pty Limited, 31 Waymouth Street, Adelaide 5000 on Monday June 16. One prize winner will be chosen by the SA Weekend magazine, in consultation with the Editor, Deputy Editor, editorial and pictorial staff, from all valid entries received during the promotional period.

METHOD OF ADVISING RESULT OF DRAW
The prize winner will be notified by the Editor of SA Weekend by phone to advise of their successful entry.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

To enter this competition, entrants must be 30 or under.
Individual entries are required to be solely the work of the named individual. Should evidence arise to the contrary these entries will be disqualified. The judges’ decision is such case is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries/votes and entrants/voters (including an entrant’s/voter’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant/voter who submits an entry/vote that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry/voting process.

The winning entry will appear on the cover of the June 28 Edition of the SA Weekend magazine, with the entrant featured in an editorial piece within the magazine. Submitting your entry constitutes your consent for SA Weekend to use your entry, name and photos for editorial or publicity purposes, should you be a winner. It also commits you to agreeing to the terms and conditions of the competition – including copyright rules.
The winner entrant will be expected to take part in appropriate publicity events, including an exhibition of entries in June, 2014.
When an entrant submits a design for the SA Weekend magazine front cover (“Content”), the entrant, unless the Promoter advises otherwise, licenses and grants the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a nonexclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display such Content for any purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. Entrants agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use and warrant that they have the full authority to grant these rights.
Entrants agree that they are fully responsible for the Content they submit. The Promoter shall not be liable in any way for such Content to the full extent permitted by law. The Promoter may remove any Content without notice for any reason whatsoever. Entrants warrant and agree that:
they will not submit any Content that is unlawful or fraudulent, or that the Promoter may deem in breach of any intellectual property, privacy, publicity or other rights, defamatory, obscene, derogatory, pornographic, sexually inappropriate, violent, abusive, harassing, threatening, objectionable with respect to race, religion, origin or gender, not suitable for children aged under 15, or otherwise unsuitable for publication;
they will obtain prior consent from any person or property that appears in their Content;
they will obtain full prior consent from any person who has jointly created or has any rights in the Content, to the uses and terms herein;
their Content shall not contain viruses or cause injury or harm to any person or entity; and
they will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including without limitation, those governing copyright, content, defamation, privacy, publicity and the access or use of others’ computer or communication systems.
Without limiting any other terms herein, the entrant indemnifies the Promoter for any breach of the above terms.

Multiple entries permitted per person, subject to the following:
each entry submitted must contain a different design for the SA Weekend magazine Youth Edition cover; and
each entry must be submitted separately and in accordance with entry requirements.

Employees of News Corp South Australia, their families and associated companies with this promotion are ineligible to enter. This prize does not include any other costs of a personal nature not stated. This prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if the recipient is unable to use it as stated.
Any change in the value of prizes between the publishing date and the date prizes are claimed is not the responsibility of the promoter. Any additional costs incurred by the winner, other than those which forms part of the prize, are the responsibility of the winner. The judge’s decision in relation to all aspect of the competition is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
The Promoter and its agencies associated with this Promotion are not liable and do not accept responsibility for:
an entry that is not received or which is received and subsequently corrupted or rejected by the Web Site server or Promoter’s service provider. This includes:
any lost, misdirected or corrupt entries to the Web Site/ Promoter’s service provider;
any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or personal injury suffered or sustained:
in connection with an entrant’s participation in the Promotion or the taking of the prize, except that which cannot be excluded by law; and
relating to the conduct of the Promotion however caused, including failure of the Web Site or the Promoter’s service provider or incorrect or corrupt data supplied by the Promoter to the entrant.
The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who the Promoter has reason to believe has breached any of these conditions, or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise the fair and proper conduct of the Competition.
