Terms and Conditions

By entering the Sunrise ‘APT Mississippi River Experience’ Competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause
2.2, entry is open to all residents of Australia where the Channel Seven signal is received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Australian Pacific Touring Pty Ltd and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The promotion commences on Monday 12 May 2014 at 6.00am AEST and concludes on Friday 16 May 2014 at 12:00pm AEST (“the Competition Period”), however, the eligible entry period for each weekly prize will commence and conclude on the following dates and times: Week START DATE (AEST) CLOSING DATE at 12.00pm (AEST) 1 Monday 12 May 2014 at 6.00am Monday 12 May 2014 2 Monday 12 May 2014 at 12.01pm Tuesday 13 May 2014 3 Tuesday 13 May 2014 at 12.01pm Wednesday 14 May 2014 4 Wednesday 14 May 2014 at 12.01pm Thursday 15 May 2014 5 Thursday 15 May 2014 at 12.01pm Friday 16 May 2014
3.2 In order to enter, viewers must watch Sunrise (“the Program”) on the Seven Network during the Competition Period where there will be a competition segment aired during the Program. Viewers will be invited to visit the Sunrise website (www.yahoo7.com.au/sunrise) to enter. Viewers must register their full name, address (including postcode), email address and daytime telephone number (including STD area code) and answer the Competition question in 25 words or less.
3.3 Entries must be received by Friday 16 May at 12.00pm AEST.
3.4 Entries are limited to one entry per person.
3.5 The entry must be: (a) the original independent creation of the entrant; and (b) free from any claims, including but not restricted to copyright or trademark claims, by other parties.
3.6 Entry details remain the property of the Promoter and will not be returned to the entrant. The winners agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non–‐exclusive licence to use their entries in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4. PRIZES 4.1 There will be a total of one (1) winner during the Competition Period. The winner will receive: Two (2) return economy class flights to/from start/finish locations an Australian capital city airport. 12 nights accommodation and 29 meals including 7 nights on the ‘Queen of the Mississippi’. Total Prize Value $22,800 2 Total maximum prize pool value for the prize is $22,800. Prize value is correct as at 7/5/14. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for change in prize value between now and the ultimate date on which the prize is taken.
4.2 The prize includes GST and taxes included in the price of the ticket. The prize does not include travel insurance, passports, visas, and additional meals not stated, taxes not included in the price of the ticket, ground transportation or any other costs of a personal nature. Compliance with any health or other government requirements is the responsibility of each prize–‐winner and their companion. The Promoter makes no representation as to the safety, conditions or other issues that may exist at any destination. 4.6 The prize is valid to 30 September 2015 and subject to availability of tour and airline seats.
4.7 Each prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. Prizes are not exchangeable or redeemable for cash or other goods or services. There can be no changes made to travel arrangements once tickets are issued. If the prize is not utilised before 30 September 2015 the prize will be forfeited.
4.8 If the prize winner and their companions are from a regional area within Australia, travel arrangements to and from the nearest capital city airport do not form part of the prize and are the responsibility of the winner.
4.9 Flights are subject to availability at the time of booking and embargo periods. The prize is non–‐transferable and cannot be exchanged for other destinations. There will be no credit given if the full value of prize is not utilised. 4.10 The prize cannot be altered in any way and is non–‐refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
4.11 The prize cannot be transferred to any other person, unless agreed by the Promoter and sponsor (in its absolute discretion).
4.12 The winner agrees not to sell or otherwise provide their story and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 The winners will be the entry judged by a panel of representatives appointed by the Promoter to be the most creative from the national pool received. All entries will be judged at the APT offices on Monday 19 May 2014 at 12:00pm at 12.15pm AEST. The competition is a game of skill and chance plays no part in determining the winner.
5.2 Winners will be notified by telephone within 2 days of the daily judging.
5.3 The judges’ decision is final and the Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the result.
5.4 Incomprehensible and illegible entries will be deemed invalid.
5.5 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the prize and prize supplier’s requirements.
5.6 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner may be required to sign a legal release in a form determined by the Promoter or the Sponsor, as the case may be, in their absolute discretion.
