1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.

2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2, entry is open to residents in Australia over the age of 18 from all states where the
Channel Seven signal is received.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Telstra Corporation Limited
(“Telstra”) and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.

3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The Competition commences on Monday 17th
February 2014 at 17:00 (AEST) and concludes on Friday 28th

February 2014 at 17:00 (AEST) (“the Competition Period”).
3.2 Entrants must watch Channel Seven throughout the Competition Period wherein a Competition spot will air
from time to time during commercial airtime.
3.3 In order to enter the Competition, viewers must log onto www
and answer in 25 words or less “What makes you the biggest My Kitchen Rules fan?” All entrants will need
to enter their details by registering their first and last name, email address, year of birth, sex, mobile phone
number, address, state and postcode.
3.4 Viewers can register and enter as many times as they like.
3.5 Entries deemed as “scripting” are invalid and will not be accepted. All entries must be the original,
independent creation of the entrant and free from any claims, including copyright or trade mark claims by
other parties.
3.6 Entries must be received by Friday 28 February 2014 at 17.00 (AEST). The time of entry will in each case be
the time the entry is received by the Yahoo! 7 database.
3.7 To enter the Competition, entrants must give their consent to have their property and their image recorded
during the delivery of the prize and agree for that footage to be part of a commercial segment during a My
Kitchen Rules episode, in the event they are the winner.

4. PRIZES
4.1 There will be 2 prize winners for the Competition. Each Prize Winner will receive the prize package detailed in
clause 4.2

– The prize winner will receive the opportunity for the footage to air as part of a
unique commercial segment during a My Kitchen Rules episode the following

MONEY CAN’T BUY EXPERIENCE

4.3 All winner management will be provided by the Promoter
4.4 If the Winner doesn’t complete all fields of entry then the entry will be deemed invalid
4.5 In the event that an element of the prize outlined in the above is cancelled or postponed for any reason, the
winner forfeits the specified element and no cash alternative offer will be granted in lieu of the part of the prize.
4.6 Once the prize is accepted, the prize winner must deal directly with the Promoter should there be any requests or
questions in relation to the prize In accepting the prize the winners agree to participate in and co-operate with
all reasonable media editorial requests, including but not limited to, being interviewed, filmed and
photographed, and the winners grant the Promoter and Telstra a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such
footage and photographs in all media worldwide (including TV, social media and online) and the winners will not
be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.7 Other than as set out in clause 4.6, the winners agree they will not sell or otherwise provide their story
and/or photographs to any media or other organisation.
4.8 It is a condition of accepting the prize that the winner’s must comply with all the conditions of the prize and Prize
Sponsor’s requirements.
4.9 Prizes cannot be redeemed for cash and are not transferable or exchangeable.
4.10 Independent financial advice should be sought as tax implications may arise as a result of accepting the prize.

5. HOW TO WIN
5.1 All entries completed and submitted in the Competition Period in accordance with these Terms and
Conditions will be judged against all other entries. The entries will be judged at the Promoter’s office at 38-
42 Pirrama Road, Pyrmont, NSW 2009 at 12:00pm (AEDT) on the next business day following the Competition
Period (Friday 28th
February 2014). Two (2) Winners will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by the
Promoter. The Winner would be the entrant whose entries fulfill the entry criteria and whose answers are
judged to be the most creative and original from all entries received during the Competition Period. This is a
game of skill. There is no element of chance in the judging of the Competition or determination of the
Winners.
5.2 The Winner will be notified by phone call and email on the date of the judging advising them that they are
the winner. The winner must call back within 48 hours to accept the prize and agree to the Terms and
Conditions of the prize, at which time the Winner must disclose any food allergies to the Promoter. If the
prize winner does not call back within the required time, the prize will be allocated to the next best entry as
judged by the panel of judges. The Promoter will not be liable for failure of a winner to respond to the
Promoter’s email or telephone contact attempts, and no further correspondence will be entered into.
5.3 After the winner has called to accept the prize, the winner will be emailed a prize acceptance form by the
promoter which they need to complete and return by fax or email to the promoter within 48 hours of receipt
of the email. The winner forfeits the prize which will be awarded to the next best judged entrant if they don’t
return the prize acceptance form by the deadline.
5.4 The judges’ decision (including any decisions as to prize distribution) is final and the Promoter will not enter
into correspondence regarding the result.
5.5 The Promoter reserves the right to request that the Winners provide proof of age and/or identity prior to
awarding Prize. Identification considered suitable for the verification is at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
5.6 It is a condition of accepting the Prize that the Winners may be required to sign a legal release in a form
determined by the Promoter in its absolute discretion.
5.7 It is a condition of accepting a Prize that the Winners must comply with all the conditions of use of the Prize
and the Promoter’s requirements.
5.8 The Promoter reserves the right to re-judge the Competition in the event that an entrant, who was initially
deemed to be the winner, is unable to satisfy any of these Terms and Conditions.

6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the
Promoter’s ability to proceed with the Competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms
and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of
God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the

Competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to state government
legislation.
6.2 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Telstra and their associated agencies and companies will take no
responsibility for prizes damaged or lost in transit, or late, lost or misdirected mail.
6.3 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Telstra and their associated agencies and companies will not be liable
for any misadventure, accident, injury, loss (including but not limited to consequential loss) or claim that may
occur:
a) during the judging of the Competition;
b) in the participation or use of any element(s) of the prize;
c) as a consequence of late, lost or misdirected mail;
d) due to the broadcast of any program relating to the Competition or the publication of any material,
including any statements made by any compere, staff member, journalist, other entrants or any other
person;
e) arising from or related to any problem or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines or
mobile communications network related to or resulting from participation in this promotion.
6.4 Seven Network (Operations) Limited, Telstra and their associated agencies and companies assume no
responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission,
communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of entries, and
reserves the right to take any action that may be available, subject to state government legislation.
6.5 The Promoter and Telstra exclude all warranties in relation to supply of the prize, except those that cannot be
excluded by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, any liability of the Promoter, Telstra or their
employees or agents for breach of any rights a consumer may have which is unable to be excluded under
Australian law, is limited to the payment of the costs of having the prize supplied again.
6.6 If for any reason the Competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including but not
limited to tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the
control of the Promoter which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper
conduct of the Competition, the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual
who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify
or suspend the Competition, subject to state government legislation.
6.7 All entries and any copyright subsisting in the entries become and remain the property of the Promoter and
Telstra who may publish or cause to be published any of the entries received. The Promoter, Telstra and their
related entities collect entrants’ personal information for the purpose of conducting and promoting this
Competition (including but not limited to determining and notifying the winner).
6.8 To the extent that these terms are unenforceable or do not comply with the law, that term is to be read
down, or excluded to the extent required to comply with the law.
